The park is directly across the street from Trestle Creek Golf Course and Clubhouse. It is close enough that the clubhouse is visible from the sites — which is worth saying plainly, because several of the buildings you can see from the park belong to the course rather than to Red Hill.

Trestle Creek Golf Course

Directly across the street from the park — the clubhouse is the building you can see from the sites.
  • The Trestle Creek golf clubhouse sits just across the road, a long cream-sided building under a broad dark hipped roof, its covered porch lined with small tables, chairs and tall planters of ornamental grass. Close-mown green turf, a rock-edged bank and a flagpole flying the Stars and Stripes spread out in front of it, with a steep wall of evergreen forest rising behind.
  • A gravel clearing edged with weathered rock, tall dry grass and low green brush opens onto a view over a mown golf fairway dotted with mature pines, with dense evergreen forest climbing low, rounded mountains beyond under a heavy overcast sky.
